Aux alentours de 6 h 10, des agents de la Police Maritime en service a\u0300 la base de Treichville ont de\u0301couvert un bateau de transport a\u0300 passagers e\u0301choue\u0301 contre une pile du pont Fe\u0301lix Houphoue\u0308t-Boigny, dans le sens Treichville-Plateau.<\/p>\n<p>Selon les premie\u0300res informations recueillies sur place, l\u2019embarcation appartiendrait a\u0300 la Compagnie Ivoirienne de Transport (CITRANS). Le bateau, dont l\u2019identite\u0301 exacte n\u2019a pas encore e\u0301te\u0301 confirme\u0301e, serait habituellement stationne\u0301 au quai lagunaire exploite\u0301 par la socie\u0301te\u0301 au Plateau.<\/p>\n<p>Les premie\u0300res constatations indiquent que les fortes pluies enregistre\u0301es dans la nuit du samedi 14 au dimanche 15 mars auraient provoque\u0301 la rupture des amarres du bateau. Livre\u0301e aux courants de la lagune, l\u2019embarcation aurait de\u0301rive\u0301 avant de venir s\u2019e\u0301chouer contre la pile nume\u0301ro 5 du pont.<\/p>\n<p>Fort heureusement, aucun passager ne se trouvait a\u0300 bord au moment des faits et aucune perte en vie humaine n\u2019a e\u0301te\u0301 signale\u0301e. Le bateau est toutefois en grande partie immerge\u0301, ce qui suscite des inquie\u0301tudes quant aux risques pour la navigation dans cette zone tre\u0300s fre\u0301quente\u0301e de la lagune.<\/p>\n<p>Les autorite\u0301s maritimes envisagent la mise en place rapide d\u2019un balisage autour de l\u2019e\u0301pave afin de pre\u0301venir tout nouvel incident.
