Africa-Press<\/a> – C\u00f4te d’Ivoire<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/span>La Fondation internationale bien vieillir en Afrique (FIBVA) a proc\u00e9d\u00e9, mercredi 1er septembre 2021, \u00e0 Abidjan, au lancement de ses activit\u00e9s en faveur des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

Selon la pr\u00e9sidente du conseil d\u2019administration de la FIBVA, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Diarra, conform\u00e9ment \u00e0 sa mission, il s\u2019agit tout d\u2019abord de l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la sant\u00e9 par la mise en place d\u2019activit\u00e9s par l\u2019inscription des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es dans une d\u00e9marche de sant\u00e9 globale en fournissant l\u2019assistance sanitaire, psychologique, cognitive, sociale et de mobilit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ensuite, l\u2019action caritative en permettant la r\u00e9alisation des programmes de charit\u00e9, d\u2019accompagnement et de soutien aux personnes d\u00e9munies.<\/p>\n

L\u2019intervention psychosociale, pour stimuler la protection juridique des personnes retrait\u00e9es et des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de toutes conditions et enfin la formation des professionnels ou b\u00e9n\u00e9voles qui \u0153uvrent aupr\u00e8s des personnes retrait\u00e9es et des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

\u00ab Il est imp\u00e9rieux qu\u2019au-del\u00e0 des actions d\u2019appuis directs aux personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es, que tous les acteurs (\u00e9tatiques, institutionnels et du priv\u00e9) puissent s\u2019inscrire dans une d\u00e9marche inclusive et participative pour la mise en place de m\u00e9canismes p\u00e9rennes d\u2019accompagnement et de prise en charge des personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es \u00bb, a exhort\u00e9 Mme Diarra.<\/p>\n

La FIBVA a mis en place, depuis ao\u00fbt 2021, un programme exp\u00e9rimental de repas \u00e0 domicile \u00e0 Gonzaqueville dans la commune de Port-Bou\u00ebt. Ce programme, nomm\u00e9 \u2018\u2019l\u2019assiette du c\u0153ur\u2019\u2019, se traduit par l\u2019apport quotidien de repas sains et \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s \u00e0 une vingtaine de personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es vuln\u00e9rables, isol\u00e9es et particuli\u00e8rement d\u00e9pendantes d\u2019une aide pour se nourrir convenablement, et ce, pendant 20 semaines.<\/p>\n

Au total, 2.280 repas seront fournis dans cette phase pilote aux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires. Les responsables de la FIBVA ont saisi l\u2019occasion pour lancer un appel, \u00e0 de futurs partenaires institutionnels et priv\u00e9s \u00e0 se joindre \u00e0 eux pour \u00e9tendre cette op\u00e9ration de partage et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9 sur toute l\u2019\u00e9tendue du territoire.<\/p>\n

Selon le dernier Recensement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la population et de l\u2019habitat (RGPH), en C\u00f4te d\u2019Ivoire, la population des personnes de plus 65 ans augmente de 5% par ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Cette situation pose la question de l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des services de sant\u00e9 et de protection sociale de qualit\u00e9 pour les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et notamment pour les plus vuln\u00e9rables.<\/p>\n
