Africa-Press – C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. <\/strong><\/span> Une communication relative \u00e0 la candidature de la C\u00f4te d’Ivoire au poste de Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du Conseil africain et malgache pour l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur (CAMES ) a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite en Conseil des ministres. La C\u00f4te d’Ivoire propose \u00e0 ce poste qui sera pourvu \u00e0 l’occasion de la 39\u1d49 session pr\u00e9vue \u00e0 Kinshasa en R\u00e9publique d\u00e9mocratique du Congo du 23 au 27 mai 2022, un expert des instances du CAMES.<\/p>\n

Il s’agit de Souleymane Konat\u00e9, Professeur titulaire du CAMES en \u00e9cologie et actuellement Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Recherche et de l’innovation au minist\u00e8re de l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la recherche scientifique.<\/p>\n

Par ailleurs, dans un communiqu\u00e9 en date du 26 janvier 2022, le Pr\u00e9sident en exercice a inform\u00e9 les \u00c9tats membres de la vacance de poste de Secr\u00e9taire g\u00e9n\u00e9ral \u00e0 compter du 1er ao\u00fbt 2022 et pr\u00e9cise que le candidat d\u00e9sign\u00e9 prendra service le 3 janvier 2023 conform\u00e9ment au statut en vigueur de l’Institution.<\/p>\n

Selon des informations en notre possession, le Secr\u00e9tariat g\u00e9n\u00e9ral du CAMES reviendrait \u00e0 la C\u00f4te d’Ivoire. Avant cette d\u00e9cision du Gouvernement, la candidature du Professeur Bikpo C\u00e9line Yolande n\u00e9e Koffie \u00e9tait souhaitable dans le milieu universitaire. Si elle \u00e9tait propos\u00e9e et d\u00e9sign\u00e9e par la suite, elle deviendrait la premi\u00e8re dame et le premier ivoirien \u00e0 diriger le CAMES depuis sa cr\u00e9ation.<\/p>\n

La date limite de d\u00e9p\u00f4t des candidatures est annonc\u00e9e pour le 28 avril 2022. Malheureusement, elle n’a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e par le gouvernement qui a port\u00e9 son choix sur le Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Recherche et de l’innovation au minist\u00e8re de l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur et de la recherche scientifique.<\/p>\n
