L’Union africaine demande aux E\u0301tats membres de couper les liens commerciaux, scientifiques et culturels directs et indirects avec Israe\u0308l jusqu’a\u0300 ce qu\u2019il cesse les pratiques \u00ab\u00a0coloniales\u00a0\u00bb contre la Palestine.<\/p>\n

Publie\u0301e a\u0300 l’issue du 36e sommet de l\u2019UA qui a eu lieu les 18 et 19 fe\u0301vrier a\u0300 Addis Abeba, la de\u0301claration a e\u0301te\u0301 partage\u0301e en ligne par la Banque africaine de de\u0301veloppement.<\/p>\n

L\u2019institution a aussi re\u0301ite\u0301re\u0301 son \u00ab\u00a0plein soutien au peuple palestinien dans sa lutte le\u0301gitime\u00a0\u00bb face a\u0300 Israe\u0308l. Elle appelle les pays membres a\u0300 de\u0301fendre la Palestine et \u00ab\u00a0toutes les de\u0301cisions en sa faveur lors des fora internationaux\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>\n

La de\u0301le\u0301gation israe\u0301lienne expulse\u0301e<\/p>\n

Cet appel intervient juste apre\u0300s l\u2019expulsion de la de\u0301le\u0301gation israe\u0301lienne de la ce\u0301re\u0301monie d\u2019ouverture du sommet dans la capitale e\u0301thiopienne. L\u2019UA a explique\u0301 cette de\u0301cision par la suspension du statut d\u2019observateur d’Israe\u0308l aupre\u0300s de l\u2019organisation.<\/p>\n

L\u2019E\u0301tat he\u0301breu a obtenu le statut d\u2019observateur en 2021 sur de\u0301cision de Moussa Faki Mahamat, le pre\u0301sident de la Commission de l\u2019UA. Mais cette de\u0301cision a suscite\u0301 des protestations au sein du bloc de la part de l\u2019Alge\u0301rie et de l\u2019Afrique du Sud.<\/p>\n

La question sur la participation israe\u0301lienne a e\u0301te\u0301 suspendue \u00ab\u00a0jusqu\u2019a\u0300 ce que ce comite\u0301 puisse de\u0301libe\u0301rer\u00a0\u00bb, a de\u0301clare\u0301 M.Faki a\u0300 la fin du sommet.
