{"id":12450,"date":"2023-05-12T11:23:30","date_gmt":"2023-05-12T11:23:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/djibouti\/politique\/en-afrique-la-production-dhydrogene-propre-devrait-atteindre-15-million-de-tonnes-par-an-en-2030"},"modified":"2023-05-12T12:08:55","modified_gmt":"2023-05-12T12:08:55","slug":"en-afrique-la-production-dhydrogene-propre-devrait-atteindre-15-million-de-tonnes-par-an-en-2030","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/djibouti\/economie\/en-afrique-la-production-dhydrogene-propre-devrait-atteindre-15-million-de-tonnes-par-an-en-2030","title":{"rendered":"En Afrique, la production d\u2019hydrog\u00e8ne propre devrait atteindre 1,5 million de tonnes par an en 2030"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Djibouti. <\/strong><\/span>Le Conseil de l&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne souligne que les capacite\u0301s de production des projets annonce\u0301s a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301chelle mondiale ne repre\u0301sentent qu\u2019environ la moitie\u0301 des volumes d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne propre ne\u0301cessaires pour re\u0301duire les e\u0301missions de gaz a\u0300 effet de serre de 45 % d\u2019ici 2030, et atteindre l\u2019objectif de ze\u0301ro e\u0301mission nette d\u2019ici 2050.<\/p>\n<p>La capacite\u0301 de production cumule\u0301e de l\u2019ensemble des projets d\u2019usines d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne propre annonce\u0301s en Afrique devrait atteindre 1,5 million de tonnes par an (Mtpa) en 2030, a re\u0301ve\u0301le\u0301 le Conseil de l&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne (Hydrogen Council) dans un apport publie\u0301 le 11 mai en collaboration avec le cabinet de conseil McKinsey &amp; Company.<\/p>\n<p>Intitule\u0301 \u00ab Hydrogen Insights 2023 \u00bb, le rapport pre\u0301cise que quelques-uns de ces projets devraient entrer en production en 2025, anne\u0301e durant laquelle la capacite\u0301 cumule\u0301e de production d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne a\u0300 faible empreinte carbone sur le continent atteindra le seuil de 0,1 million de tonnes par an.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019e\u0301chelle mondiale, la capacite\u0301 de production de l\u2019ensemble des projets des usines d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne propre de\u0301ja\u0300 annonce\u0301s devrait atteindre 38 millions de tonnes par an en 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Plus 66% de cette capacite\u0301 concerne l\u2019hydroge\u0300ne vert (produit par l\u2019e\u0301lectrolyse de l\u2019eau en utilisant une e\u0301lectricite\u0301 issue exclusivement de sources renouvelables), alors que le reste concerne l\u2019hydroge\u0300ne dit bas carbone (produit a\u0300 partir des combustibles fossiles, mais de\u0301carbone\u0301 gra\u0302ce a\u0300 des techniques de captage et de stockage de carbone).<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019Europe arrive en te\u0302te de liste des re\u0301gions ou\u0300 les capacite\u0301s de production sont les plus importantes (13 Mtpa a\u0300 l\u2019horizon 2030), devant l\u2019Ame\u0301rique du Nord (9,3 Mtpa), l\u2019Ame\u0301rique latine (5,2), l\u2019Oce\u0301anie (4,7), le Moyen-Orient (2), l\u2019Afrique (1,5), la Chine (1,1), le reste de l\u2019Asie (0,8) et la Japon et la Core\u0301e du Sud (0,3).<\/p>\n<p>Initiative dirige\u0301e par les patrons de plus de 140 entreprises partageant une ambition a\u0300 long terme pour l&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne afin de favoriser la transition vers une e\u0301nergie verte, le Conseil de l&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne indique cependant que les capacite\u0301s de production annonce\u0301es au niveau mondial ne repre\u0301sentent qu\u2019environ la moitie\u0301 des volumes d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne propre ne\u0301cessaires pour re\u0301duire les e\u0301missions de gaz a\u0300 effet de serre de 45 % d\u2019ici 2030 et atteindre l\u2019objectif de ze\u0301ro e\u0301mission nette d\u2019ici 2050.<\/p>\n<p><b>Des projets confronte\u0301s a\u0300 plusieurs de\u0301fis<\/b><\/p>\n<p>L\u2019e\u0301cart entre les capacite\u0301s de production des projets de\u0301ja\u0300 annonce\u0301s et les volumes de production requis dans le cadre d\u2019un sce\u0301nario de ze\u0301ro e\u0301mission nette sera difficile a\u0300 combler. D\u2019autant plus que les projets de production d&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne vert se heurtent a\u0300 la lenteur des proce\u0301dures administratives et a\u0300 des proble\u0300mes d\u2019approvisionnement en e\u0301quipements comme les e\u0301lectrolyseurs, les panneaux solaires et les turbines e\u0301oliennes.<\/p>\n<p>Les projets de production d&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne a\u0300 faible teneur en carbone sont e\u0301galement confronte\u0301s a\u0300 des de\u0301fis lie\u0301s a\u0300 la disponibilite\u0301 d\u2019infrastructures a\u0300 grande e\u0301chelle pour le captage, le transport et le stockage du carbone ainsi qu\u2019au manque des capitaux et de main-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre qualifie\u0301e.<\/p>\n<p>A l\u2019e\u0301chelle mondiale, des projets d\u2019une capacite\u0301 cumule\u0301e de 3 millions de tonnes par an seulement ont d\u2019ailleurs de\u0301passe\u0301 le stade de la de\u0301cision finale d&rsquo;investissement (DFI). Ces projets sont principalement situe\u0301s en Ame\u0301rique du Nord (environ 70 % en termes de capacite\u0301 de production), en Asie-Pacifique (15%) et au Moyen-Orient (8 %).<\/p>\n<p>Le rapport souligne d\u2019autre part que 1046 projets d\u2019usines d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne ont e\u0301te\u0301 annonce\u0301s dans le monde. Sur ce total, les 795 projets qui devraient entrer en production en 2030 ne\u0301cessiteront des investissements globaux de 320 milliards de dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Avec 117 milliards de dollars, l\u2019Europe reste le leader inconteste\u0301 en ce qui concerne les investissements programme\u0301s. Viennent ensuite l\u2019Ame\u0301rique latine (48 milliards), l\u2019Ame\u0301rique du Nord (46 milliards), l\u2019Oce\u0301anie (34 milliards), le Moyen-Orient (21 milliards), l\u2019Afrique (19 milliards), la Chine (18 milliards) et le Japon, Core\u0301e du Sud et le reste de l\u2019Asie (17 milliards).<\/p>\n<p>Le Conseil de l&rsquo;hydroge\u0300ne fait remarquer par ailleurs que la majorite\u0301 des projets annonce\u0301s a\u0300 travers le monde sont de petite taille. 112 projets a\u0300 grande e\u0301chelle (plus de 200 000 tonnes d\u2019hydroge\u0300ne par an) seulement ont e\u0301te\u0301 recense\u0301s a\u0300 l\u2019e\u0301chelle plane\u0301taire.
