Donald Trump Says he Held Call with Leaders on Iran

Africa-Press. The American president Donald Trump stated that the agreement with Iran has been mostly negotiated, confirming that the final aspects and details are still under discussion in preparation for an announcement soon.

In this context, Trump revealed that he has been in contact with several leaders and officials from the region, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Jordan, and Bahrain, to discuss developments regarding the Iranian file.

Trump added, in statements reported by American media, that he had a “great call” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, noting that the call addressed developments concerning the anticipated agreement with Tehran.

The American president confirmed that the agreement includes the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, along with other important issues, explaining that “final touches” on the agreement are currently being made.

These moves come amid increasing American and Israeli reports suggesting that Washington and Tehran are nearing an understanding that could extend the ceasefire and reopen negotiations regarding the Iranian nuclear file.
