The Conclusion of the Journey: The Negritude of Action and Departure in Normandy<\/b><\/p>\n
On December 20, 2001, the great poet and pioneer of Senegalese independence passed away in his home in Normandy, northern France, away from the noise of politics but close to the sanctuary of literary contemplation.
