Africa-Press – Eritrea. French defender Lucas Hernandez finally broke his silence after his long-awaited move from Bayer Munich to PSG was confirmed on Sunday.
The 27-year-old, brother to Theo who plies trade with AC Milan in Italy, joined the French champions for £34m on a five-year deal.
“I’m really excited,” Hernandez said. “I’ve been waiting to join PSG for a long time, and it’s finally happened. It’s a very special day for me and I’m very happy to be here.”
Hernandez played 107 matches for the Bundesliga giants.
He won a treble in his first season at Bayern. Hernandez also play a key role in Bayern’s 2020 Champions League glory.
He also won the 2018 World Cup with Didier Deschamps’ France.
