Africa-Press – Eritrea. Asmara, 31 July 2023- President Isaias Afwerki returned home in the evening hours of today, 31 July, after attending the Russia-Africa Summit that was held in St. Petersburg on 27 and 28 July on the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.
During his visit to the Russian Federation, President Isaias addressed the Preliminary Summit and held talks with President Vladimir Putin and other officials of the Russian Federation on strengthening and consolidating bilateral ties and mutual cooperation, as well as on issues of interest to the two countries.
The Presidential delegation includes Mr. Osman Saleh, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
