Africa-Press – Eritrea. The office of the National Union of Eritrean Women in the Mai-Temenay sub-zone has extended monetary support to 10 families of martyrs in the sub-zone. The support was provided in connection with International Women’s Day. The beneficiary families were identified by their respective administrative areas.
Ms. Tsega Entonios, head of the office branch, emphasized that supporting the families of martyrs should not be left to the Government alone and called on all citizens to contribute to the initiative.
The beneficiary families, while commending the support they continue to receive from the Government and the public, stated that the initiative reflects the deep respect and honor the Eritrean people hold for their martyrs.
