Africa-Press – Eritrea. Bryan Mbeumo has delivered a candid message in the wake of his team’s recent setback, urging his teammates to shoulder their responsibilities and raise their standards.
The Cameroonian international admitted he is frustrated by the results but praised the warmth he received from the supporters.
“Of course, I’m disappointed with the result. I received a very warm welcome from the fans and I’ll never forget it. But I think everyone in the team needs to take responsibility. When you play for a club of this stature, you have to understand what that means. As a group, we need to do better,” Mbeumo said.
The forward stressed that representing a club of such magnitude comes with expectations that cannot be ignored. “All team members must take on their responsibilities. When you play for such an important club, everyone must know what they have to do. As a team, we need to do better.”
Mbeumo also highlighted the importance of mental discipline amid external pressures, insisting that focus must remain within the squad. “The most important thing is to stay focused internally, avoid social media, and keep our minds on the pitch,” he added.
