Africa-Press – Eritrea. Residents of the Tebeldya administrative area in the Golij sub-zone are conducting an extensive water and soil conservation popular campaign.
Mr. Ahmed Suleiman, administrator of the administrative area, said that the objective of the campaign is to rehabilitate the environment and restore forestry resources. He also indicated that the campaign includes the renovation of the dirt road leading to the administrative area.
Mr. Teklemariam Kibreab, representative of the water and soil conservation program in the Golij sub-zone, stated that the program includes rehabilitating 300 hectares of grazing land, as well as preparing planting holes for tree seedlings during the upcoming rainy season.
