Africa-Press – Eritrea. The senior Eritrean delegation comprising Mr. Hagos Gebrehiwet, Head of Economic Affairs of the PFDJ, and Mr. Nesredin Salah, Minister of Trade and Industry, which is conducting a three-day official visit to Egypt, met and held talks with various Egyptian officials.
The delegation today met Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport; Mr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy; Mr. Alaa Farouk, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation; as well as officials of the Egyptian Drug Authority and CEOs of other companies and institutions.
The meetings focused on opportunities and prospects for effective cooperation between the two countries in transport, especially sea transport; exchange of best practices and collaboration in renewable energy; cooperation in food processing; and the overall enhancement of trade in various areas.
