Africa-Press – Eritrea. <\/strong><\/span>Leicester City on Sunday parted ways with manager Brendan Rodgers after a six-match winless run that saw the club drop into the relegation zone.<\/p>\n

“Leicester City Football Club reached a mutual agreement with Brendan Rodgers that will see him leave the Club after four years as our Men\u2019s First Team Manager,” the Foxes said in a statement.<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old guided the club to win the FA Cup and the FA Community Shield in 2021.<\/p>\n

The Northern Irish manager has also served Liverpool, Celtic, Swansea City, Reading, and Watford.<\/p>\n

Assistant Manager Chris Davies and fitness coach Glen Driscoll will also be leaving, the statement said, adding that first-team coach Adam Sadler and goalkeeping coach Mike Stowell will take care of training and match preparation.<\/p>\n

Collecting 25 points, Leicester City are 19th with seven wins, 17 defeats, and four draws in the English Premier League table.<\/p>\n
