{"id":19984,"date":"2023-08-05T18:57:11","date_gmt":"2023-08-05T18:57:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eritrea\/all-news\/eritrean-community-festival-in-usa"},"modified":"2023-08-05T19:10:46","modified_gmt":"2023-08-05T19:10:46","slug":"eritrean-community-festival-in-usa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eritrea\/all-news\/eritrean-community-festival-in-usa","title":{"rendered":"Eritrean community festival in USA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Eritrea. <\/strong><\/span><b>Asmara, 05 August 2023 \u2013<\/b> The Eritrean community festival in the United States of America opened yesterday, August 4, in Seattle with patriotic zeal.<\/p>\n<p>Representing the Government of Eritrea and the PFDJ, Eritrea\u2019s Regional Governors: Ambassador Abdella Musa of the Anseba Region, Ambassador Mahmud Ali-Hiruy of the Gash Barka Region, and Ms. Asmeret Abraha of the Northern Red Sea Region, officially opened the festival.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Berhane Gebrehiwet, Charge d\u2019Affaires at the Eritrean Embassy in the US, gave an extensive briefing on the significance of the festival in nurturing noble societal values and national identity, as well as enhancing public diplomacy activities.
