Africa-Press – Eritrea. <\/strong><\/span>Juventus forward Paul Pogba has reportedly tested positive for testosterone after his team’s first game of the season against Udinese.<\/p>\n

Multiple media outlets in Italy report that the Frenchman could face a four-year ban from football if found guilty of using the banned substance.<\/p>\n

That’s if investigations by the National Anti-Doping Tribunal prove that the alleged doping was intentional, otherwise, the ban would be two years.<\/p>\n

Pogba has found it difficult to settle at his former club since leaving Manchester United last year and his short stint has been riddled with injuries and fitness problems.<\/p>\n

Pogba has made only 10 appearances since making a shift back to his youth club.<\/p>\n

This season, the talismanic striker has played for just 32 minutes and wasn’t featured in the Serie A opener against Udinese.<\/p>\n

Sporting rules in general prohibit the use of banned substances and their use or attempted use is punishable by a ban or fine, or both.<\/p>\n

His club Juventus was yet to issue a statement following the reports.<\/p>\n
