{"id":2342,"date":"2021-10-20T15:23:16","date_gmt":"2021-10-20T15:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eritrea\/?p=2342"},"modified":"2021-10-20T15:18:32","modified_gmt":"2021-10-20T15:18:32","slug":"announcement-from-the-ministry-of-health-79","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eritrea\/all-news\/announcement-from-the-ministry-of-health-79","title":{"rendered":"Announcement from the Ministry of Health"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a> &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/eritrea\">Eritrea<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>Two patients have been diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in tests carried out today at Quarantine Centers in the Anseba Region.<\/p>\n<p>Out of these, one patient is from Quarantine Center in Keren and the other patient is from Quarantine Center in Hamelmalo, Anseba Region.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, nine patients who have been receiving medical treatment in hospitals in Anseba (5) and Central (4) Regions have recovered fully and have been discharged from these facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of recovered patients has accordingly risen to 6,691 while the number of deaths stands at 45.<\/p>\n<p>The total number of confirmed cases in the country to date has increased to 6,780.<\/p>\n<p>Ministry of Health<\/p>\n<p>Asmara<\/p>\n<p><b>20 October 2021<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Eritrea.
