Africa-Press – Eritrea. <\/strong><\/span>Asmara, 13 November 2023- President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation yesterday, 12 November visited the historical city of Diriyah which is located in the Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

During the visit the President Isaias Afwerki and his delegation were provided briefing on the historical significance of the city, the role it played in the establishment of the modern-day Saudi Arabia and the heritage it is holding.<\/p>\n

Diriyah from 1744 to 1824 has been the center of administrative institutions and is one of the main historical and symbolic centers in the development and unity of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n

Presidents Isaias Afwerki appreciating for the effort and objective to preserve the historical city commended those who are engaged in the effort.<\/p>\n
