Africa-Press – Eritrea. <\/strong><\/span>Juventus narrowly beat 10-man Lazio in an Italian Serie A match Saturday thanks to a late own goal.<\/p>\n

Lazio defender Alessio Romagnoli was shown a red card in the first half for a foul on Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu.<\/p>\n

Romagnoli made a sliding tackle on Kalulu but fouled him to deny an obvious goal-scoring chance.<\/p>\n

Lazio played with 10 men for the remaining 70 minutes at Turin’s Allianz Stadium.<\/p>\n

Juventus had many chances during the match but Lazio’s Spanish defender Mario Gila gifted the hosts three points near the end.<\/p>\n

Turin club’s left-back Juan Cabal crossed the ball into the six-yard box but Gila, who failed to block it, scored a clumsy own goal in the 85th minute.<\/p>\n

The hosts secured a narrow win.<\/p>\n

In eight matches, Juventus boosted their points to 16 to reach the second position in the league led by Napoli, which have 16 points as well.<\/p>\n

Fifth-place Lazio have 13 points.<\/p>\n

Napoli will visit Empoli in a Sunday match.<\/p>\n

Inter Milan, the defending Italian champions, will play against Roma on Sunday at Olimpico Stadium in Rome. Third-place Inter have 14 points.<\/p>\n
