Awards were given to competition winners, promoting engagement and equal participation, especially among female students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"ap-article-header-tag\"> <strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Eritrea. <\/strong> <\/span>Students\u2019 week has been conducted in Adi-Keih sub-zone under the theme \u201cOur Culture \u2013 Reflection of Our Values and Identity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The students\u2019 week, in which students from 22 schools took part, featured cultural and sports competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Amanuel Mel\u2019ake, head of culture, sports, and health in the sub-zone, said that the annual students\u2019 week is a program through which the rich culture of the society is reflected and the psychological and physical condition of students is observed and assessed.<\/p>\n<p>Noting that cultural and sports programs are being given equal attention alongside other educational subjects, Mr. Beyene Tesfay, head of the education office in the sub-zone, called for reinforced participation to ensure equal participation of female students.<\/p>\n<p>At the event, awards were provided to winners of various competitions.<\/p>\n<p>In Adi-Keih sub-zone, there are 77 schools, ranging from pre-school to high school, providing active educational services to students.<\/p>\n<p>The annual students\u2019 week in Eritrea serves as a platform for students to engage in cultural and sports activities, reflecting the rich heritage of the society. This initiative not only fosters a sense of identity among the youth but also encourages physical and psychological well-being through active participation in various competitions. Educational authorities emphasize the importance of equal participation, particularly for female students, to promote inclusivity in educational settings.
