Africa-Press – Eswatini. Sitsebe SaMhlekazi has crashed out of the 2022 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championships.
This was after the Simephi Mamba-led charges suffered their second loss in their second game at the hands of Namibia on Sunday.
Ivone Kooper scored a brace for Namibia as she inspired her side to a 5-1 win against the locals, to add to the 0 – 3 loss the team suffered to Lesotho on the first match.
Eswatini were trailing by two goals by the 35th minute, but Sisanda Ndzinisa tried to pull a goal back just before halftime when she drilled the ball in low from just inside the box.
But, Namibia scored three more times in the after the interval when Kooper added her second, and three minutes later Veweziwa Kotjipati added a fourth.
Sitsebe are now scheduled to face Zambia in their last match tomorrow in what is now in honour of formalities.
