Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mbabane Swallows President Archbishop Bheki Lukhele has given the players and members of the technical bench a E30 000 reward following the 2-0 victory over Green Mamba in the MTN Premier League on Sunday.
Goals from Ugandan international Bashir Mutanda and Felix Badenhorst were enough to seal victory for the red and white glamour side at Somhlolo National Stadium. It was the capital city giants’ first win this season.
A source within the Swallows camp revealed that each player from the 23 registered took home E1 000 along with seven members of the technical bench plus the medical personnel.
“The news came as a surprise to the players and technical staff. To be honest, they were not expecting this. It’s a blessing to have president Lukhele at the helm of Mbabane Swallows,” said the insider.

“Our president is always there for us. We would like to thank him for the kind gesture, we are truly appreciative,” he said.
“He has proved to be a man of God indeed. He has the love of the club at heart,” he added.
