Africa-Press – Eswatini. Hlomu series author, dudu Busani Dube’s Meet and Greet session has been postponed.
This was confirmed by event organiser Nomfundo Jiyane.
She stated that Dube could no longer avail herself for her book fans because she had challenges beyond her control. “She has promised her followers that she will look into a new date for early December and sends her apologies. She has also issued a formal statement on her page,” narrated Jiyane.
She stated that they had refunded all those who had paid and they were yet to communicate when payment would be open again. The author would be making her second visit to the country.
Dudu Busani-Dube is the author of the popular Hlomu series of self-published novels, being Hlomu the Wife, Zandile the Resolute and Naledi his Love, which has sold tens of thousands of copies. Her latest book, Zulu Wedding (2018) is based on the popular film by the same name, which she wrote at the request of the film’s creator and producer, Lineo Sekeleoane.
With a following of over 100 000 and loved by mostly ladies, Dube has published a new novel titled ‘The End’ adding to her book of series. The book was released in august. The series of books by the author follows five other successful releases that have taken SA by storm and saw them turned into an equally successful Showmax series,The Wife.
