Africa-Press – Eswatini. DIVINE intervention might be the only solution for hub giants Manzini Wanderers as the team is said to have not been training throughout the week ahead of their MTN Premier League clash against Green Mamba at Ka-Langa Stadium tomorrow.
According to a source within the maroon and white outfit, the team last trained before their 1-0 defeat to Young Buffaloes at who King Sobhuza Stadium last Saturday, and have not been back since then.
“The team has not been training since Monday due to internal issues. They were supposed to resume training yesterday, however training was again called off due to the Manzini Bus Rank protests,” said a source.
The source further revealed that the players were not notified when they should report to training at the time of compiling this report.
Wanderers Public Relations Officer (PRO) Lucky ‘Majayivane’ Dlamini confirmed that the team had not trained this week, saying he was still going to find out the reasons behind this as he had been out of the country.
“Give me some time, I will get back to you. I was unable to travel to Malkerns due the protests. I was out of the country,” he said.
The hub giants have not recorded a win in four league games and are currently languishing at the basement of the log standings without a single goal.
