Africa-Press – Eswatini. Experienced coach Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini has rejoined Tambankulu Callies as the club’s head coach until the end of the season.
Information gathered is that the veteran gaffer had been roped in to help the Lubombo-based side and had already started drilling the team. Dlamini joined the team after the departure of Sifiso ‘Nuro’ Ntibane, who left the club a few games into the start of the new season.
Dlamini once had a stint with the sugar belt side a few seasons ago.
Tambankulu Callies Director Sithembiso ‘Ngudze’ Mamba confirmed that Dlamini had been appointed as head coach and also shared the mandate of the seasoned mentor with the club.
Rejoined
“Yes it is true that ‘Ace’ has rejoined the team and he will be there until the end of the current season. He is someone who is familiar with the club’s culture and a senior coach. He is someone who can handle the pressure that comes with the job. His mandate is to ensure that we finish in the top eight at the end of the season,” he said.
The director further added that assistant coach Vusi Mahlalela would retain his position at the club and work together with Dlamini.
Bobhajane, as Callies are also known, are currently 11th in the MTN Premier League log standings with only one win, four draws and five losses this season.
