Africa-Press – Eswatini. HIS Majesty King Mswati III received thousands of energetic Ingaja who delivered the Lusekwane shrubs at Ludzidzini Royal Cattle Byre yesterday morning.
His Majesty who was joined by Sigodlo, Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini, cabinet, chiefs as well as regiments, started by inspecting the Lusekwane before the Ingaja marched into the cattle byre for the actual delivery.
The regiment was also cheered up by Imbali who spent time in the cattle byre to motivate the Ingaja as they took the last lap of the delivery of Lusekwane.
The Ingaja heeded to His Majesty’s command as they brought back quality shrubs that saw the King smiling as he inspected the Ingaja in the early morning hours, before they delivered the sacred shrub.
After inspecting the Lusekwane, His Majesty joined by ‘bayes’khulu’ walked back to Ludzidzini Cattle Byre to welcome the Ingaja.
As soon as the Ingaja started the march to the Royal residence, one would be forgiven for thinking that they saw a moving forest.
Despite the long walk the Ingaja endured the previous day and the following morning, they still had the energy to carry the shrubs to the final destination and deliver it before the King.
It took the Ingaja over four hours to finish delivering Lusekwane due to the large numbers experienced on the day.
The Ingaja gained strength and courage on seeing His Majesty motivating them as they sang and passed before him while carrying the shrubs.
The delivery of Lusekwane yesterday leads to the Main Incwala Ceremony tomorrow as announced by Minister of Home Affairs, Princess Lindiwe on Saturday.
The minister encouraged Emaswati to come through and dance Incwala with Their Majesties, saying the holiday had been provided so that everyone was able to attend.
She said this was a national ceremony, wherein every Liswati was allowed to participate.
The Incwala will be held at the Ludzidzini Royal Cattle Byre.
The ceremony also attracts a number of international visitors, including diplomatic and social friends of the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The security forces also took centre-stage as they came through at different intervals together with the thousands of Ingaja.
His Majesty inspired the Ingaja as he constantly encouraged them to hold on, to the last destination.
Despite fatigue taking its toll on the Ingaja, His Majesty would encourage them to push on.
He would be heard telling the Ingaja to take a breather, gain strength and to march on.
He would also be heard telling them to hold on stating that this was a sign of being a true warrior.
