Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini will be the Guest Speaker at the launch of the book of former prime minister Dr Absalom Themba Dlamini next week.
The Tibiyo Taka Ngwane Managing Director, who is affectionately known as Dr AT’s book titled ‘A Future that Came Early’, will be launched at an event to be held at Royal Villas Hotel on Wednesday.
The book and the launch have received the blessings of His Majesty King Mswati III. This was confirmed by the author and coordinator of the event Pastor Victor MacDonald.
He said they were grateful to His Majesty King Mswati III for giving them a greenlight to host the launch and blessing the publishing of this book.
“When we receive blessings from our earthly King, it means God in Heaven has also blessed this ceremony,” he said.
He said they were also grateful to the PM for agreeing to be the main guest at this special event, stating that they expected him to deliver a keynote address on the night.
He said unfortunately they have limitations in the number of guests, hence attendance was strictly by invite. He said as a way to cater for all they will have made provision for people to follow the ceremony via social media platforms.
He said there were also a number of people and organisations from the United States (US), United Kingdom (UK) and Nigeria, among other countries, who would be following the ceremony on social media platforms.
He stated that they had printed 5 000 copies which would be made available immediately after the launch, noting that outlets where the book will be available would be announced on the day. He stated that they were currently working on finding a distribution company which will handle to logistics of getting the book onto the shelves.

He said there was already a huge demand for the book as they had received orders from a number of institutions of higher learning locally and abroad, including the Cambridge, Oxford and Sydney Universities, among others
“Out of the 5 000 copies printed for now, 1 985 have been pre-ordered with 492 of those copies going abroad to various institutions of higher learning, mainly in the United States and Nigeria,” he said.
The Senior Pastor of God’s Glory Ministries said preparations for the launch were at an advanced stage, noting that the book would also be available for purchase on the day. He mentioned that those who would buy the book at the launch would have a chance to get their books autographed by the statesman, whom he described as phenomenal.
He said the book was interesting in many ways, highlighting that people will get to know the inside story of Dr AT.
“People will know about his difficult upbringing and how he eventually got to where he is today. People will learn that he was already a businessman even before he joined Tibiyo Taka Ngwane.
He is a self-made success, as he managed to overcome all the struggles he faced during his upbringing to become one of the country’s success stories and role model of note,” he said stating that people will learn all this from the book.
