Africa-Press – Eswatini. CELEBRATING love is slowly but surely becoming a norm in Eswatini. This was witnessed during the Valentine’s Day on Monday as families and couples made a pause in their kitchens and went to eat out at various establishments, including the Royal Villas and Ocean basket (in Mbabane and Ezulwini).
The ambience and food served permitted the mood of the day, which was love. Lovebirds looked the part for the day with couples welcomed with a rose each as the ushered to them respective seats. John Dlamini said celebrating the lovers’ day was part of his family’s calendar and they never missed the day without a celebration.
“I make sure I take my wife out on this day. This is the day when we got married. So it is basically our anniversary. We always celebrate it here at Royal Villas,” he said. Sandile Maseko said celebrating Valentine’s Day was something his wife cherished the most and that he would always spoil her with a perfect dinner date.
