Africa-Press – Eswatini. An opportunity has been availed for business people to purchase a farm measuring over 940 hectares. The Horseshoe farm is located around Mankayane area under Ngwempisi Inkhundla and is suitable for vegetable farming. It is also appropriate in farming for fruits like blueberries, other intensive crop production and cattle ranching.
Susan Turner, who is responsible for the upcoming sale said the farm was a beautiful mountain setting, basically a blank canvas for a potential investor to develop.
The farm will be sold via sealed-bids which will be held next Wednesday February 23 between 7am and 3pm online and it has a guide price of between E11 million and E15 million.
The farm also has a plan of a new dam. The farm was granted an allocation of 400 000 m2 per year to irrigate 50 hectares of vegetables by the Usuthu River Basin Authority. Sourced Water at the farm is sourced from the Mtingwenya stream, which is a tributary of the Ngwempisi River.
“To participate in the purchase of the farm, potential buyers will need to complete the sales documentation and submit their bids electronically or deliver them to the address on the sales document before 3pm on February 23,” Turner said.
