Africa-Press – Eswatini. AWARD winning gospel artist Shekinah Motsa is back with a new single titled ‘Kanye Nawe’. The artist has said the single was taken from her upcoming album. This song follows her single titled ‘Ngiphefumlele’, a song she released in January.
Motsa promises her fans nothing but the best this year. Motsa, who is also known as Sheky, is a gospel artist and songwriter. A born again Christian, she developed her love in music as worship leader at her local church, Jesus Calls Worship Centre. In 2016 she auditioned for Women In Praise which unfortunately was not successful.
She then joined a local gospel group called Swazi Praise. Since then she has been performing at various events as a solo artist which earned her the Best Gospel Artist of the year for 2020 and 2021 at the Social Media Awards.
First Single In 2021 she recorded her debut album ‘My Story’ which is due to be released this month. The first single ‘Ngiphefumlele’ was released on January 28 with the second single ‘Kanye Nawe’ due to be released in March 2022.
All her music will be available in all online digital stores such as iTunes, YouTube Music, Deezer, Spotify and Amazon among others.
