Africa-Press – Eswatini. With King Sobhuza II’s birthday in a few days, His Majesty King Mswati III has referred to July as a special month.
Incidentally, July is also the birth month of the late South African icon Nelson Mandela and also Lesotho’s King Letsie III. His Majesty was speaking at a media briefing upon his return from Lesotho, where he was the special guests at King Letsie’s 60th birthday celebrations.
The King said the trip was filled with beautiful memories, stating that Eswatini and Lesotho share a lot in common and that the relationship between the two kingdoms dated back to many years.
“We applaud the bond shared between the two Royal families, as well as the desired outcomes of development and prosperity for our people,” the King said.
During the trip, the King also invited King Letsi III to grace the 55/55 double celebrations taking place on September 6 in Eswatini.
