Africa-Press – Eswatini. TIBIYO Taka Ngwane Managing Director Dr. Absalom Themba Dlamini has hailed His Majesty King Mswati III for ensuring that all Emaswati who need serious medical attention get access to good health care.

Dr Dlamini was speaking at the thanksgiving service for Tibiyo’s Main Committee Chairman, Prince Fipha, who recovered from an illness he battled for some time.

The Evangelical Church Malkerns held a thanksgiving ceremony for the prince after his recovery from illness, which grounded him for a lengthy period.

The prince received treatment at the Manzana Hospital, among other places he had been admitted to.

Dr. Dlamini said His Majesty gave them specific instructions that Prince Fipha got all the help he needed to get back to good health.

“People must know that the King is not selective when it comes to helping those who need such help. The only difference is that one can only seek assistance when it is something severe, not just a mere headache,” he remarked.

The former prime minister told the congregation that the prince was an elder who still had a lot to contribute towards nation building, stating that the experience was needed.

Dr. Dlamini stated that the country needed elderly people because of their wisdom and counsel, which they offer to the higher authorities of the land.

“We got very worried when he fell ill, especially during the days when the sickness got severe.

We pray at all times to God to save you so that we can continue to benefit from your wisdom and experience. At Tibiyo we are grateful to have you lead us as the chairman of the main committee.

You are a wonderful leader who cares,” he said.

Dr. Dlamini also urged Prince Fipha’s family to give him all the support and respect so that he could live even longer.

He said it was disheartening to see elderly people going through hard times only to find that they have children who neglect them.

The children, according to Dr Dlamini, lose lots of blessings for neglecting their parents who are the very people who would have otherwise given them blessings.

Dr Dlamini thanked the church for supporting the prince with prayers, which he said also played a huge role in his recovery.

He said even the best of doctors need to be supported with prayer so that whatever they do becomes a success story. He said doctors were not givers of life but only God.
