G. MAMBA, ‘BULL’ GAMES CALLED OFF

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) has postponed three league games that were set to take place over the weekend.

This was according to a statement that was released by PLE yesterday. “The Premier League of Eswatini hereby advises you, that your requests to postpone your League matches which were scheduled to be played on November 11 and 12, 2023, has been granted. A date to fixture this matches shall be announced in due course,” reads the statement in part.

The affected fixtures include Mbabane Highlanders against Nsingizini Hotspurs, which was scheduled to take place at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium on Sunday afternoon; the game between defending champions Green Mamba and Manzini Sea Birds, which was slated for Simunye Stadium; and the match featuring Royal Leopard and Illovo at Mayaluka Stadium.

Camp

According to the statement from the PLE office headed by Kenneth Makhanya, the reason for the postponement of the matches was that the above-mentioned teams had players that were currently involved with Sihlangu on a full time camp. Meanwhile, Mbabane Swallows’ matches have not been postponed, despite the fact that they also have five players with the national team.
