Africa-Press – Eswatini. His Majesty, King Mswati III has urged emaSwati to give God a chance to bless them.
The King was speaking during the End of year Thanksgiving prayer service under the theme ‘The Lord has done Great Things For us’, held at Mandvulo Hall on Saturday.
His Majesty said the nation was a blessed one and God had been blessing the nation from the beginning of the year. The King said it was time for emaSwati to come closer to God as they had an obligation and duty to the scripture.
He stated that the nation long received the directive from King Somhlolo to always choose the scripture over the coin which was why he saw it fit that the nation should have the thanksgiving prayer. The King said God had never forsaken emaSwati and he had taken them from far.
His Majesty said it was time for the nation to pray to God and there was no time for them to run away.
He said this was important because they would be blessed if the nation had God within them.
The King also urged emaSwati to thank God for continuing to bless the nation stating that there was hope that God had heard every prayer of each liSwati and he was about to respond. “As the nation cries about jobs, God says there will be jobs coming for emaSwati and they will be in abundance,” said His Majesty.
The King also reflected on the theme that was given to the nation at the beginning of the year ‘A year of turnaround’, sharing that when he looks back, the year was indeed one of turnaround.
