Africa-Press – Eswatini. AMBITIOUS side Nsingizini Hotspurs have signed a technical partnership deal with sport apparel manufacturer Primo.

The team confirmed the deal yesterday and that they would be using their new kit going forward.

Nsingizini Hotspurs CEO Banele Ngobe said the club was excited to team up with Primo, a brand based in Durban, South Africa.

“We are excited to team up with Primo, a brand with which we hope to set new records and establish ourselves as one of the teams to be a force to reckon with in the country.”

He said they would unpack the sponsorship details during the launch to be held on Thursday at the team’s new ground in Nsingizini, Hluti.

This is where the team would also be launching their new training ground and officially announcing Eswatini Meat Industries (Embiveni) as their sponsor.

“Primo, like Nsingizini Hotspurs, is a unique brand of style and class and one of the key players in the global football kit space. They have had great partnerships with some of the leading football clubs and we are happy to partner with them.”

Ngobe said preparations for the launch were at an advanced stage as they were also expecting officials from Primo to grace the event.

“This deal is an exciting leap into the future for the club. We are looking forward to having a great relationship with Primo.”

He said all their stakeholders would be present during the launch.

“Insingizi Yezulu is known for passionate singing and rhythmic chants. The new kit design captures the spirit of the team, and we trust that it will generate energy in the stands and on the field. Our fans always attend games to cheer on the players and we appreciate that,” said Ngobe. Meanwhile, PRIMO is part of a network of 10 companies within the Gemelli Group, managed by Nino Chidoni. The company was established in 1982 in Durban, South Africa and began as a small, independent manufacturing concern. Today it is a national powerhouse which manufactures clothing for women, men and children – as well as accessories – which are supplied to an array of listed retailers and brands. It boasts in-house design, development and pattern making and also has an in-house knitting mill.

The group has extensive warehousing and import/export facilities and has established global partnerships with numerous equipment and accessories suppliers. The PRIMO management team has a combined 65 years of experience in the sportswear industry.
