Africa-Press – Eswatini. King Mswati secured a deal with Turkish Maarif Foundation for the construction of a Turkish International School,Government online reported on Sunday.
As a result, Foreign Affairs Minister Pholile Dlamini-Shakantu signed a Memorandum of Understanding(MoU) on behalf of the Kingdom of eSwatini with the Turkish Maarif Foundation represented by it’s President Dr. Birol Akgün.
“His Majesty King Mswati III meets with President of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Dr. Birol Akgün, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Türkiye. The meeting culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Foundation by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Pholile Shakantu and Dr Akgün for the establishment of a Turkish international school in the Kingdom”, reads the Government online report.
The King and his delegation was in Turkey, attending the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF).
