Africa-Press – Eswatini. Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini calls the King by his coronation name ‘Mswati’ when speaking to his friends within the political circles, he doesn’t regard him as Ingwenyama or the King.

This was disclosed through information shared to the editor of Zweli Martin Dlamini by an insider close to the King, the PM was venting his frustrations saying “Mswati seems to be soft on the editor by directing his Spokesperson Percy Simelane to continue responding to his questionnaires much against a Government position banning.

The Prime Minister said, the editor was causing serious problems for the Government and tarnishing the image of the country internationally and he doesn’t understand why the King is not stopping his Spokesperson from responding. He said by not responding to his questionnaires, the editor could have long been isolated from all corners and be completely banned.

“Buka-ke mine ngentelwa phansi nguMswati, ngabe kadze ngacedza ngalomfana(meaning: The King is letting me down,I could have long finished that boy)”, said the Prime Minister when speaking to one of his friends in the corridors of power who then shared the information to the editor.

The PM failed to respond when asked to clarify the allegations.

On another note, the Prime Minister recently told editors during a Breakfast Meeting that,it was him and the Government who issued the ban on the editor and this publication, not Government Spokesperson Alpheous Nxumalo in his personal capacity adding that, the ban was meant to ensure that the editor “is isolated and cease to exist”.

This comes after this publication consistently exposed how the Prime Minister, the then Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the National Disaster Management Agency(NDMA) failed to account for about R180million as per the report of the Auditor General(AG) Timothy Matsebula, the AG subsequently discovered that, another R30million went missing hence the PM now stands accused of stealing R210million public funds.
