Africa-Press – Eswatini. Luca Fraser, the award winning swimming star has made waves in the Africa Junior Aquatics Championships held in Cairo,Egypt.
Despite his young age, Luca showcased a remarkable skill and determination, earning a commendable 15th place in 100-meter breaststroke and was also named the fastest 14 year old swimmer. Representing Eswatini, Luca traveled to Cairo, Egypt, to compete in the amazing yet challenging Africa Junior Aquatics Championships. His participation not only marked a significant milestone in his athletic journey but also highlighted Eswatini’s growing presence in international aquatics competitions.
Speaking to this publication Luca thanked her family and ESA as well as Eswatini Sports council for making his journey happen. “I’m thankful to my mom for supporting me and for my family coming to watch. The race was really hard but hard work pays off and I’m glad that I have been training in a new environment because that has impacted me positively. I would also like to thank ESA and Eswatini Sports council for all the funding.” Said Luca.
Luca’s performance has earned praise from coaches and spectators alike, with many noting his exceptional technique and potential for future success on the global stage. As an award-winning swimmer already making headlines, his experience in Cairo is expected to be a stepping stone to even greater achievements in the years to come.
