Africa-Press – Eswatini. The organisers of the upcoming Eswatini AI & Digital Transformation Summit 2025 have announced a groundbreaking partnership with the Innovators Association of Eswatini to accelerate support for local tech startups.
As part of this initiative, 20% of the Summit’s proceeds will be allocated to establish a dedicated Startup Support Fund under the stewardship of the Innovators Association.
The Fund aims to unlock opportunities for young tech entrepreneurs through seed funding, mentorship, and exposure to investors and policy makers.
A key highlight of the partnership will be a Tech Startup Pitch Night, set to take place during the Summit on 16–17 July 2025 at Esibayeni Lodge, where shortlisted startups will pitch live to a panel of investors, innovation leaders, and public sector stakeholders.
“We don’t just want to talk about digital transformation—we want to fund it,” said Sibusiso Mngadi, CEO of Stratcom Group and lead organiser of the Summit. “This partnership ensures that the Summit leaves behind a legacy of tangible support for local innovators.”
Mr. Jose Rego, Chairperson of the Innovators Association of Eswatini, also welcomed the initiative:
“This Fund is a game-changer. It will allow us to nurture Eswatini’s next generation of innovators and give them the runway to build solutions that create jobs, solve local problems, and attract investment.”
Organisers invite businesses, development partners, and innovation stakeholders to contribute to the Startup Support Fund and be part of shaping Eswatini’s digital future.
