Africa-Press – Eswatini. Nkhaba and Siphocosini High Schools have triumphed in the semi-finals, earning their well-deserved spots in the InstaCash finals.
The road to the final has been nothing short but an amazing showdown, with both schools showcasing remarkable talent, resilience, and determination throughout the tournament. Their recent semi-final victories were hard-fought, each requiring nerves of steel in tense penalty shootouts.
Nkhaba battled against a strong Sikanye High School in a tightly contested match. With the score locked at full-time, it all came down to penalties. Nkhaba held firm under pressure and emerged victorious with a 4–2 shootout win, booking their place in the final.
Meanwhile, Siphocosini High School went head-to-head with Mbabane Central High School in another intense encounter. Both teams pushed to the limit, but Siphocosini managed to edge their opponents 5–4 in a dramatic penalty finish.
Nkhaba High School couch Mnisi expressing his joy he mentioned that they came prepared in any way possible. “We came prepared because we did not know each other. We got opportunities and we unfortunately missed them but with our boy’s resilience we were able to make it through the penalties.” Mnisi stated.
He further stated that they are looking forward to maintaining these results. ” We are looking forward to continuing with our win. I am hoping that our boys will not be carried away and will go back to training in preparation for the next match on Friday.” Added Mnisi.
Both finalists have demonstrated exceptional spirit and skill, making the upcoming final one to watch. With everything to play for, the championship title will be decided in what promises to be an unforgettable climax to the tournament.
