Africa-Press – Eswatini. Mancoba Khumalo,the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade has applauded Inyatsi Group of Companies for creating over six thousand jobs(6000) and the group company’s contribution to economic development with over R1billion tax contribution.
The Commerce Minister was speaking on Tuesday during the Inyatsi Leadership Vision Summit held at the Royal Villas-Ezulwini.
“Inyatsi is a proudly Eswatini-grown business that has transformed into a multinational enterprise.Their Vision, “Africa’s Leading Integrated Business Partner”, speaks to scale, ambition and excellence.The Group is not just growing profits, it’s growing people, jobs, skills and the economy”,‘said the Commerce Minister.
The Commerce Minister further noted that, Inyatsi Group has a presence in six(6) African countries, showcasing the Kingdom of Eswatini’s exportable talent and capacity.
“Active projects valued at over E4 billion, positioning Eswatini as a regional economic player.Over 60 skilled Maswati professionals currently working on projects abroad exporting our people’s excellence, local employment at 6,000 jobs locally and annual wage bill: E700million-directly fuelling household income, dignity and economic activity”, he said.
On another note, the Commerce Minister further applauded Inyatsi for supporting over two thousand-two hundred(2,200) subcontractors and suppliers, empowering the Small and Medium Enterprise(SMEs) and local industries while contributing the over R1billion in tax revenue and dividends.
