PSPF ANNOUNCES 4.2% PENSION INCREASE TO CUSHION RETIREES

Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Public Service Pensions Fund (PSPF) has confirmed a 4.2% pension increase for all its beneficiaries, effective 1 April 2025.

The welcomed adjustment, known as the Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA), comes as part of government’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare of retired public servants amidst rising living costs.

The Minister of Public Service, Mabulala Maseko, in consultation with the PSPF Board of Trustees, approved the increment to ensure pensioners continue to live with dignity and financial stability.

“This decision reflects our dedication to protecting the livelihoods of those who have served the nation with commitment and integrity,” the PSPF statement read.

The adjustment will be implemented in the August 2025 pension payroll, providing retirees with much-needed relief and an affirmation that their years of service to the Kingdom of Eswatini remain valued and honoured.

This announcement underscores PSPF’s ongoing mission to align pensions with economic realities, ensuring that every public service retiree can meet essential needs and enjoy a better quality of life.
