Africa-Press – Eswatini. Rising Eswatini rap talent Nkosinathi Magagula, popularly known as Lil Nugget$ dablxck Sherpad (umelusi wama Goats), is making waves with his latest release, Hhayi Ngeke ×3.
The remix, which dropped on YouTube on 15 August 2025 at 20:00, is inspired by the viral South African hit Yehx4 by Blxckie and Nasty C.
Originally from KaLanga in the Lubombo region, Lil Nugget$ moved to Mbabane to continue his studies, all while pursuing his passion for music. Known for blending local Swazi vernacular with global rap flows, his journey has been marked by determination, versatility, and a distinctive artistic style.
Speaking about the remix, Lil Nugget$ said, “I wanted to experiment with my flows on the beat and show that Eswatini artists can hold their own lyrically alongside big names like Blxckie and Nasty C.” His goal was to showcase his talent while inspiring other local artists to explore diverse rap styles rather than mimic a single dominant sound.
The remix presented its own creative challenges. Matching the energy of the viral original while integrating Siswati verses—complex in length and rhythm—required multiple revisions to perfect the flow. Despite these hurdles, early social media clips quickly gained attention, with fans praising the authentic Swazi verse, which has become a standout feature of the track.
Lil Nugget$ tackled the project solo, emphasizing his versatility and dedication. He also hinted at subtle lyrical shots aimed at other local rappers, demonstrating both confidence and skill.
Listeners can expect a high-energy performance and a fresh take on a familiar beat. With Hhayi Ngeke ×3, Lil Nugget$ is proving that Eswatini artists can bring unique flavor and lyrical mastery to the wider African rap scene.
