Africa-Press – Eswatini. Leon Jacobsz, the Managing Director of Swaziland Milling has confirmed that, the milling company did inform employees about predictable salary delays amid customers late payments.
The Managing Director was clarifying a memo informing employees about late payments of October salaries.
“It’s true that we informed the employees about the delay, some of our customers are financially struggling and delaying to pay so we normally inform our workers about the two(2) days or maybe three(3) delay. Today we are paying October salaries,” said the Managing Director when speaking to editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.
Eswatini is facing cash flow challenges, Government has been delaying to pay suppliers thus contributing to a wider cash flow crisis within the Kingdom.
