Africa-Press – Eswatini. Energy, anticipation, and community pride filled the Sigangeni Sports Ground as the 6th edition of the Siphocosini Sports Business Festival unfolded today, November 29, 2025, drawing athletes from across the country.
Hosted by Siphoco-City, the festival continues to grow in prestige as one of Eswatini’s most anticipated community sporting events, blending competitive sport with business-driven community development.
Hundreds of spectators converged on the venue for a day packed with boxing, soccer, and netball. The festival once again proved its ability to unite communities while providing a vital stage for emerging talent to showcase their skills.
Boxing this year’s main attraction opened with an action-packed clash between Sambulo Ndzabandzaba and Bhonke Bhembe, thrilling spectators and setting a fiercely competitive tone for the day.
The excitement Intensified during the second bout, where Asanda Mamba of Siphocosini Boxing Club went head-to-head with Robert Bhila of Titans Boxing Club. In a disciplined and determined performance, Bhila secured victory, earning cheers from the crowd.
“I’m really hoping to win all my matches in Angola so I can qualify for the Youth Olympics in Senegal,” he said. “I have trained hard for this, and I want to make my community and my country proud.”
Robert upcoming trip to Angola, where he will compete in the Commonwealth Sport Youth Games from December 10 to 20, 2025 has drawn nationwide encouragement as he prepares to represent Eswatini on the international stage.
Beyond the boxing ring, the festival grounds buzzed with activity. Netball teams showcased impressive skill and teamwork on one side of the venue, while lively soccer matches kept fans cheering loudly on the other, creating a vibrant atmosphere of sport and community celebration.
