Africa-Press – Eswatini. The much-anticipated Epic Gig proved to be one to remember.

With over 40 acts, both local and international, music lovers were entertained beyond imagination.

Thousands of funlovers packed the Malkerns Country Club on Saturday and were at a loss for words after witnessing the different performances.

Judging from the crowd’s reaction and reception, it is safe to say all the artists outdid themselves. They made sure attendees were on their feet, from 8pm to 10 the next morning! Buffalo Souljah was the first artist that attracted people to the stage.

It was when the ‘Rugare’ hitmaker started performing that people began to hurdle around the stage.

The artist was the first to grab the crowd’s attention and from there, fun-lovers were ready to dance the night away.

Just after Buffalo Souljah’s performance, DJ Lady Zee took over and dished out the same vibes.

The crowd screamed and danced to her set as she played mostly trending amapiano songs.

Lady Zee raised the bar high as she had the crowd eating out the palms of her hands.

One fun lover said she was happy to see a female DJ on stage.

“I am happy with how well women are doing in the industry. I loved everything about her set. She reminds me of DBN Gogo,” said Nomcebo Dlamini.

The crowd witnessed a special performance by Umuti, formerly known as Mozaik The Producer, who performed under his new name for the first time. The rapper gave the crowd a taste of his new music and they enjoyed every bit of his performance. He was followed by Cheister.

The first headliner to take to the stage was South African rapper Kwesta who raised the bar to the next level as he gave an energetic and fiery performance. While on stage, the rapper mentioned that performing was now easy for him having been in the industry for 15 years.

He left the crowd yearning for more as they chanted his name after he left the stage.

The ‘Kwenzekile’ hitmaker Blxckie mounted the stage just after Kwesta and also made sure the crowd was entertained throughout. He performed songs such as ‘Sika’, ‘Ye’, ‘Sondela’ and more. This was the first time the rapper performed in the kingdom. Taking to the stage next was Duo and ‘Summer Yomuthi’ hitmakers Blaq Diamond.

The two gave an unforgettable performance. They jumped next to the crowd and interacted with some revellers.
