His Majesty’s Correctional Services (HMCS) Headquarters on Wednesday December 31, 2025 held a special End-of-Year Prayer Service in Mbabane, bringing together the Commissioner General, Executive Command, and all CHQ staff for a moment of reflection, thanksgiving, and spiritual renewal.
The service was led by Reverend S. Ngwenyama, who administered the Word of God, and was joined by Reverend T. Hlatshwayo and Bishop H. Xaba, who worshipped with the congregation and led prayers.
Special prayers were offered for HMCS leadership and officers, inmates and their families and children, as well as for the safety, stability, and effectiveness of correctional facilities and the entire operations of the department.
The prayer service emphasized the importance of faith and unity within HMCS, providing officers with spiritual strength and encouragement after a demanding year of service. It also reaffirmed the department’s commitment to caring not only for officers but also for inmates, recognizing their need for hope, guidance, and rehabilitation.
