Eswatini Bank Celebrates 60 Years at Buganu Festival

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Eswatini Bank participated in this year’s Buganu Festival, joining thousands of emaSwati in celebrating one of the Kingdom’s cherished cultural traditions.

The festival, which honours heritage, unity, and national pride, provided an opportunity for the Bank to connect with communities and reaffirm its commitment to supporting the cultural fabric of the country.

Adding colour and pride to the celebrations, the beautifully dressed Eswatini Bank ladies (Lutsango), clad in their trademark Bank colours, travelled to Hlane where they participated in the traditional festivities.

The group was led by the Bank’s Managing Director, Nozizwe Mulela, as they presented tetfulo to Her Majesty the Indlovukazi, in keeping with the cultural traditions of the Buganu ceremony.

This year’s celebration carries special significance for the Bank as it marks 60 years of serving emaSwati.

As one of the Kingdom’s longstanding financial institutions, Eswatini Bank has played an important role in supporting households, entrepreneurs, and businesses across the country, contributing to economic growth and financial inclusion.

The Bank’s participation in the Buganu Festival reflects its identity as a proudly local institution that values the traditions and communities it serves.

As Eswatini Bank celebrates six decades of service, it continues to honour the cultural heritage of the Kingdom while supporting the aspirations and development of the nation.
