Africa-Press – Eswatini. Senior Manager Expert in IT at MTN Eswatini, Ncobile Ceeno Dlamini, has encouraged female students to challenge gender barriers and confidently pursue careers in technology, stating that “gender doesn’t define capability.”

Dlamini made these remarks during the CEO’s Chat held at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, where she addressed aspiring young women in IT. The session brought together students, professionals, and industry leaders to discuss innovation, leadership, and career development in the digital space.

Speaking directly to female IT students, Dlamini emphasized that the tech industry requires skill, determination, and consistency,not gender. She encouraged them to see themselves as equals in a competitive field that has historically been male-dominated. “You must challenge yourselves every day and refuse to be limited by perceptions. You are just as capable as anyone else,” she said.

Dlamini highlighted the importance of resilience and continuous learning, noting that success in IT demands persistence. She advised students to remain committed to improving their skills daily, keeping up with technological advancements, and taking initiative in their learning journeys.
