South African artist, Aubrey Qwana and his crew who was the main act at the Eswatini Biggest Braai had the honour to stay at the hotel.
They said they enjoyed their stay in the kingdom.
The hotel had sponsored the event with five executive rooms towards the accommodation of the artists and guests hosted by Philani Maswati for the event.
The sponsorship was worth over E15 000.
The artist and his crew was found at the city centre based hotel just a few hours before their departure.
Qwana said he had a great time at the hotel as well as the event which he had attended on the previous night (Friday) where he thrilled his fans.
The General Manager of the hotel, Bright Kumi said they had sponsored the artists with five luxury rooms to the tune of E15 200.
He said they were happy that their guests had an enjoyable stay. Kumi said they had identified the charity organisation’s objective of caring for the country’s elderly hence they saw it fit to contribute towards the success of the event.

“We provided rooms and hospitality for the international artists that performed during the event. We are grateful to Her Majesty the Indlovukazi for the initiative to start such an organisation as well as the leadership of Philani Maswati for successfully hosting the event all these years,” he said.
Meanwhile, Philani Maswati Chairman Lutfo Dlamini expressed gratitude to the hotel.
“The Holy Book says, ‘The least you have done to these, you have done it to me’.
“We would like to express our gratitude to the George Hotel and all those who have supported us in ensuring the event was the success it was.
“As the management team we appreciate the overwhelming support in the name of charity,” Dlamini said.
